Industrial or cultural heritage are historic landmarks of society and civilizations. But time moves on and nothing stays static or untouched. Yet, some industries and other remainders in society show glimpses of a forlorn past or tradition or cultural ritual.

These relics of time not only show some of our shared history but gain a new aesthetic presence due to their state of disrepair, dilapidation or because they are (partly) overgrown by nature. I like to document various phases of decay before this memorable past disappears into an unrecoverable oblivion.
