For the town of Tervuren we created a series of images for the Visitor Center of the new cultural centre CC De Warandepoort. The most ambitious task was to create a huge image of the ‘Spanish House’, a true Tervuren Land Icone situated in the Warande Park. The displayed picture is measuring approximately 5 m by 3 m. Mounted on top of this image are small information panels in the form of artificial bird’ s houses forcing the visitor to stand nearby in order to read and absorb the full information. Because of the proximity of the viewer the image had to be razor sharp from a close distance. In order to achieve this we created a composite image of 200 MB consisting of 30 individual images.
